Job Description
The SAP System Responsible leads the integration, optimization, and governance of all core business processes (Finance, Logistics, HR, Production, Sales, etc.) through a unified digital platform based on SAP S/4HANA.
This role ensures system stability, data integrity, and seamless real-time information flow across departments to enable operational excellence and informed decision-making.
As the primary owner of the SAP landscape, the SAP System Responsible oversees system operations, coordinates changes and enhancements, supports global users, and drives continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen organizational efficiency and business performance, leading the entire life cycle (FLC).
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and optimize global SAP S/4HANA processes, ensuring standardization and integration across all plants
- Lead and govern SAP-related initiatives, ensuring system stability, quality, and alignment with corporate standards
- Manage integration’s between SAP and peripheral systems (MES, IoT, analytics platforms, etc.) and ensure clear ownership and support models.
- Coordinate, train, and support global Key Users, ensuring process adherence and manufacturing excellence
- Identify improvement opportunities and deploy robust, poka-yoke–oriented solutions to enhance process reliability
- Provide expert-level guidance on SAP usage, enhancements, and best practices
- Manage cross-functional and multicultural global project teams, ensuring timely delivery of SAP improvements and strategic initiatives
- Actively contribute to the global digitization road map for Client Blades, ensuring full alignment with corporate strategy
- Promote data-driven decision making across all organizational levels
- Develop and enforce best practices for analytics, reporting, and information governance
- Collaborate closely with IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to embed digital tools and cultivate a data-driven culture
- Manage external partners (System Integration/Application Management Service): deliverables, quality, timelines, cost control, documentation.
Qualifications / Education
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related discipline.

Required Experience
- 7+ years in digital transformation, ERP leadership, SAP-centric delivery roles or similar roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated leadership in SAP-centric organizations, with proven experience managing global SAP rollouts or S/4HANA implementations. Minimum 2-3 end-to-end implementation projects or rollouts
- Prior background as SAP functional consultant or strong functional experience (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM – depth in at least 2-3 modules; broad understanding end-to-end). Able to navigate SAP transactions, validate master/transactional data, and support business users hands-on (not just coordinate)
- Experience coordinating multicultural, cross-functional teams in multi-plant or multi-country organizations
- Solid understanding of operations/manufacturing processes and shopfloor realities (quality, production, logistics, supply chain)
- Demonstrated experience in project management/governance: planning, risk management, stakeholder management, vendor management, documentation discipline
Desired Experience
- Experience with SAP delivery methodologies (e.g., Activate), agile/hybrid delivery, and formal PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2)
- Exposure to analytics platforms (MS Power BI / SAP Analytics Cloud) and data concepts (SQL, data models)
- Experience with automation/BPA (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate) and process mining
- Industry 4.0 / Integration experience (MES, IoT platforms)
