Job Description
We are seeking an Altair Inspire Simulation Engineer with experience in concept-level structural simulation, topology optimization, and gauge (thickness) optimization for off-highway vehicles and heavy equipment. The role involves supporting early-stage design validation, lightweighting initiatives, and design optimization activities for heavy structural components used in construction and mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform concept-level structural simulations using Altair Inspire.
- Conduct topology optimization and gauge/thickness optimization studies.
- Support early-stage design validation and lightweighting initiatives.
- Analyze and optimize heavy structural components such as frames, booms, arms, and other heavy structures.
- Perform design trade-off studies to support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams.
- Provide simulation-driven recommendations for cost-effective and robust product development.
- Support design activities before detailed CAE sign-off.
Eligibility
- 3–5 years of experience in simulation and structural analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Altair Inspire (mandatory).
- Experience in off-highway vehicles, construction equipment, mining equipment, or heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of structural simulation and design optimization techniques.
