Job Description
We are looking for a QA Test Engineer with experience in manual and automated testing of web applications. The role involves creating test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, validating APIs, and ensuring software quality. The candidate will work closely with development and DevOps teams to support testing activities and deliver reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications.
- Conduct functional, API, integration, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Identify, track, and validate defects.
- Support test environment setup and maintenance in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Support deployment, testing, and post-release validation activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
- Experience in web application and API testing.
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and cloud environments.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.
- Familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing.
- Experience with JIRA or Bugzilla for defect tracking.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Basic scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
- Experience in the wind energy industry is a plus.
