Job Title: Specialist – CT Structural Engineering

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design & Product Development Engineer to support the development of wind turbine towers and foundations made of concrete and steel. The role involves structural design, advanced finite element analysis, product optimization, technology evaluation, software tool development, certification activities, and innovation initiatives to enhance product performance and reduce lifecycle costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop wind turbine towers and foundations using concrete and steel.
  • Create and analyze advanced linear and non-linear finite element models for concrete connections and joints.
  • Perform structural design and calculations to optimize product performance and LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy).
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative engineering solutions.
  • Support modularization, customization, and industrialization of developed products.
  • Develop and maintain engineering applications and software tools for tower and foundation design.
  • Contribute to patent generation and intellectual property development.
  • Support product certification activities and coordinate with certification authorities.
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders on engineering and development projects.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in precast concrete, construction buildings, civil works, or industrial processes.
  • Experience in product development and structural engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level certification).
  • Ability to work in international and cross-functional environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of linear and non-linear finite element analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS, Abaqus, or SAP.
  • Programming skills in Python and/or C++.
  • Knowledge of structural design standards and codes.
  • Experience with self-compacting concrete.
  • Understanding of concrete and steel structural systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and negotiation abilities.
  • Spanish language skills are an advantage.
